Wes Thomas Considered for Forest game
Wes Thomas is in contention for a starting role against Nottingham Forest at St. Andrew's on Saturday (3.00pm kick-off).
The loan striker (pictured) joined up with his new Blues team-mates at Wast Hills for the first time this morning following his switch from Bournemouth late last night.
"He’s under consideration to start but it’s a tough one when he’s just arrived in the building this morning," said Blues boss Lee Clark.
"We’ve done a lot of the work already leading up to Forest game, but he’s still in my mind whether I go with him tomorrow. He only played his last game ten days ago so it’s not as if he’s not match fit."
Thomas, who will wear the number 20 shirt, is a player that Clark has kept tabs on over the last few years.
"Wes is a player who I’ve admired for a long time from his time at Bournemouth when he played against my Huddersfield team," added Clark. "I’ve watched his progress since then at Bournemouth, at Portsmouth and during his time in the Championship with Blackpool where he scored three goals in nine games.
"I think he’ll be a great addition and he fits the criteria of where we’re looking to go in terms of building a young, hungry, vibrant squad. The deal is for us to have him on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent deal but he has to produce the goods."
On the injury front, Clark is boosted by the return of Jonathan Spector who has recovered from injury.
Stephen Carr, David Murphy, Akwasi Asante, Darren Ambrose, Will Packwood and Keith Fahey remain out.

Zigic and King to start, Thomas on as a sub if Zigic or King be tired (likely).
