Barry Ferguson Back At Blues ?
What do you think about Barry Ferguson coming back to Blues ?
Another Oldie to swell the ageing ranks
Blackpool midfielder Barry Ferguson may make a surprise loan move away from Bloomfield Road.
Ferguson, who has appeared in six of the Seasiders' 11 npower Championship matches this season, was initially named in the squad for Saturday's derby defeat at Burnley before agreeing to stay in Blackpool and train.
The decision followed discussions between Bloomfield Road boss Ian Holloway and the 34-year-old former Scotland international, who is out of contract this summer and eyeing more frequent game-time amid reported interest from Middlesbrough and former club Birmingham.
Holloway told the Blackpool Gazette: "Barry and I have had a chat. He thinks he should be playing every week. He hasn't been nasty about it - he believes he needs to play every week.
"He's not used to not playing, so I might loan him out. He knows he's out of contract in the summer and he knows other people might want him. He's been totally respectful and he trained back in Blackpool on Saturday."
The departure of one of Blackpool's biggest earners could free up room for Holloway to make his own moves in the loan market, and he added: "One club rang me over the weekend and said we could take our pick of their players, so we can look at that. If we have to bring Barry back, then we can in 28 days."

Re: Barry Ferguson Back At Blues ?
I might be persuaded to have him back, but according to the above report, he's one of their highest wage earners. I doubt we could afford him, unless he takes a wage cut.
Did I read right, did Holloway say he might be offered a midfielder in exchange? Mullins or Ambrose anybody???
