Big game for us, or should I say Big Game for Lee Clark?. Out of the cup and third from bottom in the league means we are in some serious shit.
This game I would normally have down as a home banker, but I dunno, Peterborough have spent some money in the summer (loads more than us) and wont be easy.
Hmmm.
Lee Clark MUST play players in there best positions - no Burke in midfield for Fuck sake.
Anyhow £28 pay on the day in the Tilton means I wont be going. Yea £28
St Andrews will be roughly half empty due to poor ticket pricing as usual.
Am going for a 3.1. home win, but wouldnt be surprised if we are sitting bottom of the championship come Saturday tea time.
Thoughts ? Anyone going ?

Won't make a difference to the size of the crowd, well not enough to offset the loss in revenue
thats the problem. If it worked in the best, they'd do it.

I've just done "Guess the Gate". After Coventry last night, I was tempted to put 300.

Slow start from us. Peterborough have just hit the underside of our crossbar.

Re: Blues v Peterborough - Match Thread -
First 20mins sounds pretty even with both teams restricted to long range shots with peterborough hitting the bar and Murphy having one go just wide
Re: Blues v Peterborough - Match Thread -
1.0. Blues.
Bit of a strange goal, Posh keeper punched the ball into his own net.

HT - 1.0.
Sounds like we have played some good stuff although Posh have been dangerous on the break.

Re: Blues v Peterborough - Match Thread -
FT 1.0.
A nervy 3 points.
But has the win just papered over the cracks? Shouldnt we be putting the likes of Peterborough to the sword ?
Clark survives, For now.

Re: Blues v Peterborough - Match Thread -
Poor first half hour, after that we looked solid. Spector did something in midfield, Mullins was anonymous again, was impressed with Lovenkrands but King was all over the place until the last 15 minutes. Burke had a great 20 minutes but not the same as last season, and Caddis looks like the perfect RB to link up with Burke.

Re: Blues v Peterborough - Match Thread -
Lowest league attendance since november 1997. 14,929, Of which 629 were from Peterborough.
Wonder how many fans were put off by the match-day price hike (£28.00) ? Extra fiver to pay on the day.
Blues just keep on alienating their own supporters.
All them empty seats again FFS.
