Re: More stupid ticket pricing v Peterborough
Silly prices @ £28 in the Tilton
I could understand if we had spent some money on decent players and were an ambitious club looking to go forward.
But we spent peanuts again and aint going anywhere whilst PP & CY are here.
Fans who usually go on the spur of the moment simply wont go, at this rate we will be left with just season ticket holders and away fans on match day.

What price do you think they should be? being sensible knowing full well financial restrictions.
Ideally they shuold be £15 per game. Although this isn't possible. £20 would be a good price but wouldn't make up for the lose in revenues

Re: More stupid ticket pricing v Peterborough
like Simon said £25 tops would be a fair price, I know its only £3 difference but when you need to buy more than 1 these £3's add up to bit more

Well as we have spent fekk all again why not try and encouraging instead of discouraging the fans?
£20 max for the visit of Wolves, Leeds ect..
£15 for the likes of Cardiff, Bolton ect..
£10 for the likes of Peterborough, Barnsley ect..
Prices above will put bums on seats - and the lower prices would mean more fans so we wouldnt really be any worse off financially.
St Andrews with bigger attendances = more noise and more noise = more Points.

Re: More stupid ticket pricing v Peterborough
we are in a situation where we need to encourage people to come not deter them and over pricing is a sure fire way to deter the occasional attendee.

Yea like me hoots..
And the other thousands who never renewed their Season Tickets.
Oh well St Andrews will be a pot quieter without the likes of me.

Trouble is they've been there and done that, it didn't work.
We have fickle fans who use an ever increasing realm of excuses not to go

Where I agree, in a perfect world, with your pricing structure the simple fact is the reduction in prices doesn't have a marked increase in bums on seats. there are for very cheap tickets, but they don;t return.
it has not EVER worked I'm afraid.
