Cheltenham Town V Birmingham City MATCH THREAD
Blues take on Cheltenham at Whaddon road with a few changes from the squad that was available for the Shrewsbury game.
Steven Caldwell is rested with Clark preferring to rest him rather than over do it and run the risk of aggravating the injury that kept him out at the end of last season.
Lee Naylor will feature at some stage as he continues his pursuit off a contract with Blues
Stephen Carr returns after not being risked midweek v Shrewsbury
Colin Doyle returns to start in goal after suffering injury v Borussia
Peter Lovenkrands is set to make his first appearance in a Blues shirt after being given time to regain his fitness
David Murphy returns to the team after being left out v Shrewsbury after suffering a knock to the knee in training before that game

I like the look of Hancox, he played well against Borussia last Saturday and looked very comfortable on the ball, especially in the first half when he played in midfield. Then he scored in the week v Shrewsbury.
Jordan Mutch WHO ?
4.0. to the Blues.

Re: Cheltenham Town V Birmingham City MATCH THREAD
For me Result is irrelevant at the moment but the team does seem be coming together well just not having that extra bit of luck in front of goal.
All being well we can get this out of our system for the when the season begins in earnest, Interesting that they have not done any tactical work or technical work yet under Clark.

Serious though i find that if we win all our pre season games we tend to do shit in the coming season so a win,a draw, and a defeat will put us in good stead for the season
