The next pre season game takes place tomorrow at The Greenhous Meadow Stadium. Kick off 7.45.

Blues have SOLD OUT their ticket allocation of 1500..Well done to the travelling Blue army.

Anyone Going?

Whereas many of us were able to watch the game online the weekend vs Borussia this will be radio only unfortunatly.

Darren Carter would be in the squad just trying to earn a contract or to be in the shop window for any scouts or clubs watching. That said it wouldn't be a bad thing if he signed on the cheap he obviously would only be a squad member and back up for a already strong looking midfield

Shrewsbury take a early lead through Morgan on 17mins Blues had a couple of chances beforehand
Rooney shot tipped on the bar on 8mins
pretty even game with chances at both ends Blues just edging it and finally getting a break through on 39mins through Mitch Hancox

HT : 1-1

2nd half line up : Lucas; Deaman, Packwood, Davies, Hancox; Burke, Ambrose, Elliott, Redmond; Zigic, Rooney

Blues start on top and have had a few chances mainly through Zigic who should of scored at least one , But shrews coming back into the game .
Carter on for Ambrose 62mins
Asante on for Burke 69mins
Asante shot on 72 mins saved by keeper but rebound put in by Zigic 2-1 Blues
Josh Hawker on for Redmond 75 mins

Blues missed 2 good chances to extend the lead through King but game ends 2-1 Blues thumb up

good run out for some of the kids who still seem to impress and great away support as usual 1296 bluenoses in the 3206 crowd supporter

That will do for me gonna go get a Cheltenham ticket this morning still not 100% if i will make it after having surgary on monday but last night has perked me up a bit and getting my ticket hopefully will give me the kick on i need. So please if you are going and you see the elephant man in the crowd give me a brake will ya I am in bloody agony
