Caddis Deal Off !

Meanwhile, Di Canio confirmed the sale of former captain Paul Caddis to Birmingham had broken down after the cash-strapped Championship side said they were unable to buy the defender out of his Swindon contract.
Caddis was loaned to the Blues at the start of the season, with striker Adam Rooney going the other way, after the Scotsman fell out with the Town manager.
Both parties had hoped to make the deal permanent in the summer but Di Canio revealed: "We agreed a deal for an amount of money but in the end they said 'we can't buy him now'.

I don't understand this. I mean yeah, we cant buy him now, but surely if we get taken over we can still buy him in the summer? Or do we only have the offer to buy in January?

Yes that's what i was thinking unless their is no chance of us being taken over

Found it all strange when I first saw it. All it seems to be is we can't buy in Jan which we all knew anyway. A story out of nothing I think

Yes I believe it was a Season long loan with no recall as Di Canio fell out with him and basically pushed him out the club

The thing about this is if we have not committed to the deal then you can guarantee some other Club will step in if he continues the rest of the season in the same vain of form, when Not on the physio's table
