To be honest im shocked that this as happened before a new manager is announced but im not to disappointed as i think he is a half decent championship player but nothing more and he certainly struggles to put a string of games together.
He got found out big time during the play-offs i just hope Lee Clark had some say in the matter

Cardiff City sign Birmingham City midfielder Jordon Mutch

Cardiff City have signed England Under-21 midfielder Jordon Mutch from Birmingham City on a three-year contract.
The 20-year-old made 34 appearances for Birmingham after joining the club from Derby County in 2007.
Mutch spent loan spells at Doncaster, Hereford and Watford, where he played under Cardiff manager Malky Mackay.
"I'm delighted that we've managed to bring Jordon in here at Cardiff City," said Mackay.
"Jordon is a top player with great potential for a big career in the game, which we hope to see him fulfil with us here at Cardiff City."
Cardiff concluded the transfer with Birmingham City for an undisclosed fee after Mutch agreed personal terms and passed a medical.
He is Cardiff's the second summer signing following the arrival of goalkeeper Joe Lewis from Peterborough United.
"He's a talented player who I know well, both from my time working with him back at Watford and from the progress he's made at Birmingham City," added Mackay.
"His record of playing right through from under-17s to under-21s for England is also impressive and Jordon will no doubt make a great addition to the squad that we are building here in south Wales."

According to Nursey and Tattum fee was more like £3million than £1million.
Would be a decent fee if true, he was poor at times last season, and we've signed much better players for less than £3m in the past. Just worrying that we're even selling the squad players, must be down to about 16 players now

For his first season he played quite well tbh, he showed a lot of potential and would have only got better. Admittedly he was poor in both play off games, but then again our midfield for both Blackpool games were a shambles mainly down to CH and his poor team selection/formation.

Cardiff have done well to get him.

if the deal is £3million then Cardiff you have been mugged regardless of what happens to the money its a great price in my book for a player only had about half a dozen decent games last year

Mutch was improving every season and remember he is only 20 and will improve year by year and we need players like him to get us out of this league but if the reported 900k fee is correct or even higher just who could we buy as a replacement at the same age.....errrrr nobody but it was a silly question really as come on as if the new manager will see any of the money anyway

I think it was a poor decision, just before they appoint a new manager ( they knew he was coming in) . The manager might have wanted to keep him.

It seems as though money talked as usual. I'm a little bit angry about this

Got a feeling Clark might of been aware of this happening when he had his 2nd interview on friday and just maybe he was told of the interest in the first interview and was given assurances (mean nothing at blues) that he would see some of the money
