Birmingham City take on Bolton Wanderers at St Andrews and with both teams having average starts to the season the game could go either way .
History is on Blues side with 33 wins 14 draws and 15 Bolton wins in the 62 games played at St Andrews between the teams and will be interesting to see if Lee Clark sticks with the team that played well in the 2-2 draw at Nottingham Forest.

I don't agree with your playing well at Notts F, Hootie. Up until sloppy defending allowed their first goal yes, but after that we were poor.
If we play like that against Bolton, and with Davies, and their smash and grab type of forward play Ibanez doesn't have a prayer.
Ah well! I live in hope. I must admit I feel pessimistic about this one, which isn't like me.

I'm quite the opposite looking forward to it and fancy our chances of taking all 3 points, i think it's taken the team time to gel and was hoping to see a difference yesterday which i think we saw and they need to keep up the momentum and convidence now with a victory on Tuesday I'm going 3-1 Blues

Agreed Trev.
The first half we were so rigid with the 442 and Forest moved better and played better. We improved in the second half and had a great purple patch only to get overrun by Forest who then looked so threatening and were always going to pull it back.
A rigid 442 closing down but with no invention on the ball. Where are Redmond and Morrisson? Do we have another McLeish? I hope not but there was no drive, class or finesse on Saturday.

Not seen any good stuff from us this season our win v Barnet in the Cup flattered us, Should of got beat against a better Charlton, then the 3 losses v Sheff Wed/Watford/Coventry were deserved, Peterborough the team with no points so far really should of beat us, so yes an away point v Forest with the team playing more like a team is a big improvement on 11 strangers turning up. Lets hope it's a sign of the team coming together more and the Break was very much needed.

Where are you guys meeting for a beer for this game? I'm going to try and get there as early as poss for a beer.
Although, sadly I'm not sure I can get to the pub before hand for this game as I have to pick me lads up and my bro who is over from the states and fancys coming to watch the mighty blues, how disapointed will he be??

Re: ****Blues v Bolton Wanderers Match Thread****
Tough one to call. I would have thought Bolton would be right up there, 100% record after a handful of games.....unless I have missed something and they have sold players. To me it seems like the Trotters are under-performing.
Blues are a bit rubbish and LC does not fill me with any confidence or enthusiasm. I am going for a 1-1.
I will be watching the Real Madrid -Man City game live on television. To be honest, I am really looking forward to this game with a bottle of sauvignon blanc and some lite bites. I just hope I remember to flick over to SS1 for the latest scores.
