On BBC Sports today. Rooney in straight swap for Paul Caddis. A Defender, previously Captain at Swindon.

We need defenders, the way our defence seems to have lost it's way this season, but I don't know anything about this lad and I don't think we will miss Rooney very much.

Reportedly from a local Swindon newspaper hack.

Well we could do with another defender, but is Caddis any good ?

If Caddis was any good surely Swindon would be wanting a fee for him.

Rooney wont be missed tbh, although he could do well in League 1. We should throw in Loverkrands for free as well.

One of my uni mates is a mad Swindon Town fan, really rates Caddis, their captain and player of the season last year. Real fans favourite. Looks a good signing to me, especially at RB. Gives us another midfielder in Spector now, who i'd take over Mullins there any day

Just a shame it's Rooney for him can't we talk them into having King laughing

Like said above any addition to the defence is a welcome addition the way we have started
