Adam Rooney.

I notice a fair few fans are not keen on Adam Rooney saying he's 'not good enough'.

Whats your opinion on Rooney?

I think he's good back up on the bench and should be given say 20 mins towards the end of a game when King is looking knackered.

Is it time to move him on?

I think when he was bought it was a case of we need strikers and he's the best that we could get. He's a good squad player, good backup, but shouldn't be near the first 11 when everyone's fit i dont think

Have never thought he will be any world beater but can do a job in various position if called upon, know's how to score and give his all

He's certainly a trier. Never gives in and is prepared to have a go. Unfortunately doesn't get enough goals for me.

That's the problem with Rooney Trev he doesnt get enough games simply because he doesn't start enough games.

Remember that goal he scored last season when we broke with the ball from our own box (think it was v Middlesborough) cultimating in Redmond passing to Rooney on the edge of the oppositions box and Rooney hit it first time past the keeper? Brilliant goal.
