Blues striker Jake Jervis has joined Carlisle United on a one-month youth loan deal until 22 September.

I'd sooner the kids were given more of a chance here than some of the oldies.


Thoughts?

Right thing to do imo, King and Zigic are by far the best strikers at the club, and Rooney and Lovenkrands will naturally be ahead of the likes of AA and JJ in clark's pecking order.

Best thing for him at the moment is get more match practice and experience before he can make the step-up, and even then it's not easy as Butland showed yesterday

Might be called upon if Zigic does go so best to keep him match fit rather than letting him just play for the reserves or sitting on the bench.
Good move really by Blues and Lee Clark this way at least it will keep him sharp
