Blues will host Belgian side Royal Antwerp in a pre-season friendly at St. Andrew's on Saturday 11 August, 2012 (kick-off:3.00pm).

Antwerp, who finished tenth in the Belgian Second Division last year, are the oldest professional club in Belgium.

Since their fomation back in 1880 they have won the Belgian league four times and the Belgian Cup twice. They were also runners-up in the 1993 European Cup Winners' Cup Final.

I didn't go myself but from what i heard on Blues Tv it was a typical end of preseason game with minds firmly set on Tuesday and Next Saturday. Morrison seemed to be one of the few that came out of the game with credit and i do worry about Butland not having a break all summer, otherwise the game went pretty much how i expected with this being Royal Antwerp's Europa league final and for us just another warm up.

Let's just hope they do step up on how they played today
