Rangers Lose SPL status
Rangers have lost the vote for the Newco to keep its SPL place so what now and where will they end up .Their are already doubts about them going into Div 1 so could mean the Div 3 Clubs could be Quids in next season with away fans Rangers would take with them.

Re: Rangers Lose SPL status
Big mistake by the SPL, without rangers, the competition goes, it becomes a one team league, and also a much poorer league financially. Yes it gives other teams the chance to compete for Europe, but if the league gets worse they'll lose one of their 2 European places, so it makes no difference in the long run. If they punish Rangers too badly, it will be the end ffor Scottish football

Well said.
Might as well just award Celtic the Title now and get it over and done with.
Be more Interesting who finishes runners up tbh.
Scotish football is wank anyhow with or without Rangers.

Re: Rangers Lose SPL status
considering most fans want to go into Div 3 its going to be a long road back if they do with just fans income and sponsor money to rely on yes can see them climbing through the leagues but its going to be a long 4 seasons
Re: Rangers Lose SPL status
They'll be back up as soon as is possible.
Even though a lot of their players are deserting them, lower league Scottish football is of an awful standard so Rangers to win back-to-back-to back promotions whilst Celtic play the next 4 years with the medals round their necks.

Rangers have been placed in Scottish Division 3 after the SFL voting decided against allowing them into Division 1

Being a good Catholic boy I've always favoured Celtic, and I suppose justice has been done here. But you have to feel sorry for the innocent supporters in all of this, we'd be gutted if this happened to us.
