So Who Will We Have Left?

Since we have to sell sell sell to stay afloat now, looks like there'll be a fire-sale #2 come January.

Butland is gone, with Doyle to come in. Lucas has left to become a coach so that leaves us with no senior backup keeper. Davies, especially with his recent form, is also a goner, which leaves us with only 2 senior centre backs in Caldwell and Ibanez, one of which is injury prone and the other having a nightmare of a season. Our first choice left back is out for the season, and Caddis cant seem to stay fit for long.

So essentially, our defence which has already been leaky all season, is going to be torn apart. At least there'll be plenty of goals on show at St Andy's I guess

Fahey has played his last game for the club. His contract expires in the summer, and has had a massive bust-up with Lee Clark. Burke is a shadow of his former self, as is Redmond, and i could see both leave for cut price fees this window. Rob Hall and Papa Bouba Piop's contracts expire in January as well.

Could see a play-off club sniffing for King to fire them to promotion and if we're in as dire straits as people seem to think Zigic will almost certainly be unloaded at any cost.

So, assuming the worst happens we'll be left with 14 senior players, of which 6 are injured. Cannot wait

And if that isn't grim enough for you, we have 23 senior and youth players out of contract in the summer. Only at the Blues eh?

Well listening to Pannu tonight he is determined to ruin the club before it goes into admin

Maybe that is the plan of the Chinese to ruin the club before they sell making it harder on the new owners that come in.
