Mark Crossley to replace Dave Watson
Been reported by radio Sheffield that we are in talks to bring in Mark Crossley to replace Dave Watson who is in talks with Norwich about a move yes BLOODY Norwich what a bad move for him in my book
Re: Mark Crossley to replace Dave Watson
I think he will regret it long term. Norwich, in my opinion are nowhere near as big a club as Blues, when we get going again.

dunno but they are nearly a grand short with 3 of us not renewing
Re: Mark Crossley to replace Dave Watson
Back on topic, don't know much about Mark Crossley as a coach, but would no doubt be a step down from Watson.
I feel Watson is one of the things keeping Butland at bcfc, hope Lee Clark and the board fight to keep him

CROSSLEY DEAL FELL THRU - HE AINT COMING
Football: Former Notingham Forest goalkeeper Mark Crossley was disappointed after a move to become Birmingham City's new goalkeeping coach fell through.
Birmingham were given permission to talk to Crossley, who is currently coaching at Chesterfield, last week.
But the two clubs failed to agree a compensation fee.
"It is nice to be wanted," said Crossley. "I'm disappointed the deal fell through, but I am all right about it.
"I have never said I wanted to leave Chesterfield, but it is nice to be recognised for the work I have done here."
Birmingham wanted Crossley to replace former Forest coach Dave Watson, who has joined Norwich City.

Conflicting reports
Chesterfield’s Mark Crossley revealed that Blues made an approach, but Clark opted for another candidate on his shortlist, irrespective of any compensation issues: “The one I have got in mind is still at a club but he’s speaking to them to see what the situation is, so I may have some information in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Re: Mark Crossley to replace Dave Watson
Crossley was First choice but the clubs couldn't agree a fee and as for the old un's we need as bit of experience to go with young lads thats what cost us last season in the play offs lack of decent experience

Considering Crossley is 6 years older than the new target the age thing doesn't compute
