Marlon King has emerged as a target for clubs in the Middle East and Turkey, Sky Sports can reveal.

The Jamaica international joined Birmingham City last summer after leaving Coventry and he made a big impact at St Andrew's, scoring 16 goals, but his future at the club is in doubt.

Birmingham know they are not in a financial position to fend off any major offers and King has now emerged as a target for other clubs.

Sky Sports understands a number of Premier League and Championship clubs are looking him.

However, it is also understood there is major interest from abroad and King could be tempted to leave England.

Clubs in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates are thought to be amongst the interested parties whilst there is also interest emerging from Turkey.

Tbh I think Marlon King's best years are past him, there was many a game towards the end of last season when MK looked knackered after about 60 mins. He's 32 now and we may get another half a decent season out of him but if anyone came in for him I wont be losing any sleep.

kro.

TBH I never thought about that. Good point.

Anyway, they'll be guessing about someone else tomorrow.

We should have been playing the kids to prepare for seasons like this. I reckon we'll still contend for top spot though.

i wasnt his best fan last season seems age as caught up on him ,he might of got away with playing the offside line many years back but not any more that yard of pace makes a very big difference and since that is a big part of his game i would let him go whatever the offer and get some younger hungrier forward in from league1 or 2
