I know it's only the sunday mercury, but nice to see the media realising what is happening to our club

It must be in the DNA of Birmingham City fans to keep smiling through adversity. The club wins a trophy for the first time in decades, then immediately gets relegated.
Chris Hughton, does a brilliant job to pull an inexperienced squad to within an inch of promotion back into the Premier League, then leaves St Andrew’s for Norwich City.
Then financial uncertainty among the owners puts the club under a transfer embargo as they hunt for a replacement for Hughton. There’s never a dull moment, is there?
But Blues have always had a reputation as battlers, both on and off the field and I’m sure they’ll be okay.

The fans deserve so much more than all the financial worry and doubt they’ve had recently. It really needs sorting out as soon as possible so that the transfer embargo can be lifted and a new boss, whoever it is, can get on with preparing for pre-season and another challenge for promotion in 2012-13.
I wish them all the best for next season – and if any club can get through this unscathed, it’s definitely the Blues!

The thing is up until a couple of years ago we didn't really know what success was and pretty much accepted that whatever happens is just part of being a Bluenose and the Ups and downs thrown at us were just a normal part of life for us . Times are turning now and even the most resolute of Bluenose's are starting to loose faith in things and it really understandable why. But im convinced things are not as bad as the press are trying to make out but we will carry on in the true Bluenose way KRO

Its true us noses deserve better. We been so unlucky when it comes to owners, you look at the other big clubs in the midlands and we are so far behind them it could make many a bluenose cry. I just hope that in 12 months time we can start looking forward again and leave all the doom and gloom behind, but we aint going to go forward whilst CY and PP are here..Need em both OUT and the sooner the better..

Decent article from The Sunday Mercury for a change, not my fave Sunday Newspaper I might add.
