Season Tickets sold ?

According to our Kev's ex at the ticket office we have sold approx 10,300 Season Tickets.

Good or bad Figure ?

With just under 2 weeks to go till the new season we could/should have roughly 11,000 Season Tickets holders which is a couple of thousand down on last year, but I think that is pretty good tbh.

Thoughts?

This time last season we had sold 11200 so not that far off really and like you say still 2 weeks to go so I'm pretty sure we will be close to last seasons 13k.
Where we will suffer is on the match by match basis with the prices being so high its just not very sensible pricing to help entice people who cant afford to purchase a Season Ticket or don't want to for other reasons you are going to see people pick and choose games. A lower match day ticket would of helped people think yes i will go more at those prices and maybe that lower pricing would of had a knock on effect to help improve season ticket sales for next year.

More than I was expecting tbh.

perhaps the fact we've been scoring for fun over the last couple of games may have a positive effect as well?

Yea its a half decent figure, but like hoots says the actual match day prices are going to put plenty off from going, When you take into consideration we have just got rid of our best manager in ages, plus the selling of a young attacking midfielder with his whole future ahead of him (Mutch) and replacing him with old timers don't seem to have put too many off.

For a club lacking in ambition, 10,000+ season ticket holders is actually very good.

I agree what you say about ticket prices. But I don't see what they can do. The club has to be self sufficient as our 'cash cow' has had his money seized. Before that, we could do more in the way of offers but we simply can't afford to do it now.

3 years ago was a season ticket holder, at the end of that season I said I wont buy another season ticket as long as Eck was here, due to the negative stuff I had to watch for 9 months.

2 years ago I picked and chose my games.

I always said when Eck is put on his bike I would renew again, as I did for last season. Last season under CH was an unforgettable season for us bluenoses, yea I know we fekked it up in the play-offs, but the way we played and the Europa experience was simply brilliant..Glad I renewed..

I wont renew again until PP & CY have fekked off, we have no ambition while these clowns are here, the day they are gone will be the day I renew, until then i will pick and choose, the sooner PP & CY do one the better..

Nothing to do with being honest, I had one of the most enjoyable seasons I've ever had last year, despite the situation. I see no reason why that wont happen again, and in fact I'm more optimistic this season than last.

I feel sorry for people who hold such negativity towards it and let things like the owners get in the way of them getting a season ticket, just get over it and enjoy the ride.
