Birmingham City giant Nikola Zigic is nearing the St Andrews exit door as he edges closer to a move to Spanish club Mallorca.
Spanish newspaper El Diario De Mallorca reports that the Serbian striker, who turns 32 next month, is in negotiations with Mallorca over a switch back to Spain.
The Balearic club’s coffers are set to be boosted by the expected sale of defender Ivan Ramis to Wigan, and they’ve already earmarked a portion of that cash to spend on Zigic.
Zigic, who joined Birmingham from Valencia in 2010, has scored 17 league goals in two seasons at the Midlands club.

I like the Zig and I will miss him when he has gone.

What sort of money might we be getting for him? I mean it dont really matter how much we get we wont be spending any of it while Pannu is here. Save on his wages as well Pannu must be rubbing his hands in glee.

ziggy is a decent player and has scored some very important goals but is too inconsistant for my liking so if he goes ill wish him all the best but if he stays then great but we need a good forward who will chase and close down players,oh yer and can score goals

started to feel sorry for him after a while

And the winner v Vile in the Quater Finals Zig also got into double figures last season despite missing the first three months.

Oh and we wont have any money to spend, unless a player costs next to nothing we will be spending fekk all as usual.

To be fair your both correct. but I also remember the countless miss kicks and open goals.....A good striker isn;t about 2 goals.

I've been thinking since Tuesday strange he didn't start would of thought it would of been his ideal game against a weak team. Like i have said before i have never thought he is as bad as some make out but at he same time can understand it would be a good thing for the club that he was moved off the books

You can bet your boots, if he does go, we will still be subsidising his wages. By how much I couldn't say, but I bet it will be a fair bit.

Plus, I know a flat on the first and second floor that will be available to let.
