Opening Ceremony
Watching the opening ceremony and quite impressed but the boring part is watching all the nations come out but then i heard mr blue sky belting out the pa system and made me think hurry up august 18th
Re: Opening Ceremony
Absolutely Brilliant opening ceremony got a bit confusing at times but still so much going it was hard not to appreciate how much hard work had gone into making this a success. To top it all the music choices showed that this country always as been and always will be at the forefront in that field.
It was all about the good and the great of this country with all the volunteers from nurses to construction workers making it happen with the final masterstroke of the lighting of the flame not done by any star or celebrity but by 7 up and coming athletes this is what the games is all about. Very inspiring certainly got me in the mood for the games well done Britain you pulled it off again

Re: Opening Ceremony
I thought the Industrial Revolution part during the Victorian Era was incredibly well done. right down to the rising chimneys and the smelting works that made the five rings. It seemed almost real. Very well done indeed.
The Queens sense of humour stood out for me also, in allowing herself to be used the way she did with James Bond.
Shame about the sound effects for Paul McCartny sequence. Spoiled it a little for me.
Overall, Very well done indeed.

Re: Opening Ceremony
thought the ending was very clever - where the dome shape thing placed by each country 'came together' to form the torch
