Germans all over Greece yet still managed to concede 2 so if England can get past the Italians could be a interesting game against the Germans who to be honest do look as if they could go all the way and lift the trophy

Germans were brilliant last night. The Greek equaliser just cheesed them off, and the penalty award was a joke.
I still think Spain are the team to beat....and the more I look at our team and the Italians, I'm convinced that man for man we're a better side.

If this was a Champions League game between say AC Milan and a Premier League XI, you'd probably have us as favourites.

My only concern tonight will be Scott Parker. I mean he's solid, I'm sure he's the sort of lad that grew up wanting to be a brick wall but was forced to play football. But he can't do handle a midfield that passes around him as opposed to trying to dribble through him.

Well the First 105 mins we were rubbish i just hope we are better last 15 or was that why was so much talk about PENALTIES maybe that was Alex Hodgson masterplan

Rooney, Young & Gerrard had really poor games.
Far worse than Welbeck, Milner & Parker who came off. Why no Oxlade-Chamberlain after his promising start against the French?

I'm pretty pissed off we've gone out like that, defending and hoping to get to penalties.

Spain deserved it.

But at 2.0. down Italy were still in it, but when they went down to 10 men with still 30 mins left it was game over.

The Italy manager got his substitutions wrong, having used them all up and then having to go down to 10 men due to an Injury was poor management on his part.

Oh well no more footie for 6 weeks, and the Olympics can get fekked, wont be watching it.
