FA Cup 3rd Round ... Leeds United v Birmingham City..3pm kick off

Blues take on Leeds in 3rd round of the FA Cup on Saturday with both teams looking to field weakened teams, This will give the kids a chance to shine in what could be an entertaining game while giving fans the chance to see some of the future talent of both teams.

I at least think we are capable of getting a draw from the game and a replay, but in all honesty would rather we went out and concentrated on championship survival than a decent cup run.

I Fancy us up there tbh. With the Pressure of the Championship cast aside I think we can throw off the shackles and win the game !

I have to concur with your thoughts Hootie. We could win up there with the kids, so it depends on who our leader puts out as his striker, or does he play Redmond up front again. Redmond has been frustrating me his last few games. He's quick, he's clever on the ball, but why oh why does he feel he has to beat everybody before passing or shooting?

We need, In the absence of recognised strikers, somebody to just shoot when they're anywhere near the goal, instead of trying to walk it in.

If we can't get a win, I wouldn't shout too loud if we lost. I don't think we want a cup run in our predicament at the moment. Pessimistic for me, I know, but let's make sure we stay up as our priority at the moment.

Honestly dont mind the result as long as it doesn't go to a replay. We don't need any injuries, so play the kids i say. They might not be as good but they'll show a lot more commitment than most the senior players seem to be showing at the moment.

Hope he plays Redmond up top again, seemed to do ok against Cardiff so might get a bit of joy using his pace against a weaker Leeds defence

Always want us to win but not become to sad if we lose tomorrow, as the state are at the club.

Hope this means they dont want him back, only player who looks like creating a goal for us at the moment

could do withouit a cup run were never gonna win anything but it would be nice to play a big team

Agree completely Kev. I didn't go but a mate did and he said it was one of the best performances of the season. Funny how our better performances seem to happen without Hayden Mullins in the team (this, Cardiff, Palace etc)

Glad to see Reilly back after being forced off against Cardiff. Hope Clark leaves Gomis and Reilly in the centre for huddersfield and brings Spector back to right back (his natural position)

Replay will bring a bit more cash to the club as well, might even get on tv and should give the kids another chance to show what the can do

Missed most of the game as to be honest wasn't bothered either way if we went out or stayed in the Comp.
Just wanted a decent performance and apart from the dreadful going's on with Will Packwood it looks like they played well according to the stats. So well then Lads keep up the improvement for next weeks game v Huddersfield

Amazing thing about it is that i took the time to read a Leeds forum to gauge an opinion, how far up themselves are they according to what was said they ran the First Half and second was about even yet stats say completely different
