Clark Unhappy

Lee Clark has challenged the Blues players to produce more quality in their over all play especially in the final third either via the Final ball or final shot or any attempt at goal and criticized the team for failing to test the opponents keeper enough something he is determined to improve things in that department thumb up

“We had some good passages of play, we just weren’t decisive enough in the final third, whether it was our final ball, our final shot or attempt on goal,” admitted the Blues manager. “Certainly, in the second half we didn’t work the goalkeeper. There were positives. There were some great individual performances. We have showed again we can move the ball around , we created a lot of opportunities. But we have to up the quality in the final third, getting that final pass, final shot, final cross better.” Said Clark

He was also disappointed with the sloppy goal we conceded saying

“That was disappointing,” “We didn’t deal with that very well. A set-play, so it’s something to look at."

Well if we cant do the business against the likes of Cheltenham then it doesnt bode well for the new season does it?
